Are you a licensed home inspector?
No. Grounds Check is a property intelligence service, not a home inspection company. We help you understand what you're
buying before you commit. You should always order a licensed home inspection before closing - that's separate from what we
do.
Q2:
Why do I need this if I'm going to get a home inspection anyway?
Home inspections cost $400-$600 and happen after you're under contract. Grounds Check happens BEFORE you sign, so
you don't waste money on inspections for deals that have red flags you could have spotted earlier. We're the screen, not the
inspection.
Q3:
What if the report finds nothing serious?
You still win. A Tier 1 rating means you can move forward with confidence. A clean report saves you from second-guessing.
The $179 buys clarity either way.

Do you enter the property?
No. All observations are made from public right-of-way only. No interior access, no trespassing. The wholesaler should be the
one who arranges interior access for a licensed inspector once you're moving toward contract.
Q5:
What areas of Kansas City do you cover?
Currently the KCMO core, Jackson County, and immediate metro. If your property is outside this area, send a message before
ordering - I'll let you know if I can take the job.

Is the $179 refundable?
If I can't take the job (out of area, scheduling issue), full refund. Once work has started, the fee is non-refundable since the
labor has been performed.
